Greg Korn Architect in the New York and New Jersey
From early internships at architectural firms in Manhattan while a student at Mamaroneck High School, and recognition for his senior project , a scale model of Grand Central Terminal in 1994, Greg Korn has been dedicated to studying and improving the built environment of New York City, and seen it transform, for decades. Prior to opening GKA's first New York office at 80 Maiden Lane in 2008, Greg worked at recognized New York Architecture firms including Andrew Fredman Architect, WPG Design Group, Janson Design Group, and Rafael Vinoly Architects. GKA's completed New York projects include a new 9000sf mixed use retail/residential building in Williamsburg, approved by DOB in 2017 and currently in construction, Greg Korn Architect in New York, the full facade renovation and entrance courtyard redesign of a 20 story coop apartment building in the upper east side, and numerous office and retail tenant improvement projects throughout New York City and the New York - New Jersey - Connecticut Tri-State Area. Greg has been a registered architect in New York since 2007 and New Jersey since 2011.
